Objects

You can join the following objects:

Object Description
Lines Join all selected lines representing straights, circular arcs, splines, rectangles and circles.
Note:
  • If the joined lines contain coincident vertices, the joined line will share a vertex.
  • If the joined lines do not contain coincident vertices a disconnected line is formed.
Polygons Join all selected polygons.
Note:
  • Only disconnected polygons or polygons fully enclosed in another polygon can be joined.
Leader and Text Select ONLY a single leader and a single text object to link.
Notes
  • Lines are not joined to polygons.
  • The created line inherits the layer and appearance attributes of the first line.
  • If you link a leader to text:
    • The leader and text remain separate objects and retain their original layers and appearance.
    • The leader is redrawn to satisfy the leader styles Text Connection settings.
