Graphically view and edit project data in Plan or 3D view.

The following controls on the ribbon Home tab, in the View group, control how graphical data is displayed in a model view.

| Model View | Select a previously saved view. |
| Plan | Display in planimetric view. |
| 3D | Display in a three dimensional perspective or orthographic projection view. |
Right-click the Model tab to view the context menu.

| Save | Click to save the active project. |
| Close | Click to close the active project. |
| New Horizontal Tab Group | Click to create a new tab group beneath the current tab group. |
| New Vertical Tab Group | Click to create a new tab group beside the current tab group. |
| Move to Previous Tab Group | Click to move the model view to the tab group above the current tab group. |
| Move to Next Tab Group | Click to move the model view to the tab group beneath the current tab group. |
- You can create and use multiple model views.
- In 3D view, the xyz axis displays the current orientation of the data.
- You can display multiple horizontal tab groups or multiple vertical tab groups in the work area but not both.
- Use the view tools to control the display of data in the model view.
- Use the Options tool to control the display of objects in the model view.
- You can specify a user coordinate system to view the data with a different orientation and origin.
- You can undock a model view, however to retain access to tools on the ribbon you should keep at least one model view docked.
