Report on the attributes of lines.

Requirements

One or more selected lines.

Controls
Control Description
Title Type the title to display in the report.
Default Click the button to display the default title for the report.
Up arrow Click to move the selected attribute or property up in the column order.
Down arrow Click to move the selected attribute or property down in the column order.
Checkboxes Do one of the following:
  • Select the checkbox to display the attribute or property column in the report.
  • Clear the checkbox to hide the attribute or property column in the report.
Width Type the width in pixels that any images will display.
Height Type the height in pixels that any images will display.
Use attribute value names When lists are used to define attributes in the layer definition, do one of the following:
  • Select the checkbox to display the attribute 'Name' as displayed in the attribute list.
  • Clear the checkbox to display the attribute 'Value' as displayed in the attribute list.
Note:
  • If a name is not defined the value will be used regardless of the setting.
OK Generate the report.
Cancel Close the dialog without generating a report.
Properties

You can report on the following line properties:

Line Property Description
Unique Id The lines unique identifier.
Layer The layer the line is on.
Length The length of the line.
Length 3D The 3 dimensional length of the line.
Use in Terrain Model The lines Use in Terrain Model setting.
Breakline The lines Breakline setting.
Attributes

In addition to attributes you have defined for the project, you can report on the following system attributes:

Attribute Description
Name The name of the line.
Description A description of the line.
Image An image attached to a line as an attribute.
Notes
  • The report is generated on the lines in the current selection.
  • Attributes defined for the project with the 'Intended Use' set to Lines or Generic display in the Column list and can be included in the report.
  • The report displays in a report tab in the work area.
  • To save the report, click the report tab to make it the active view, then click Save as.
  • Click the column header in the report to order the objects using the attributes or properties value.
  • You can view the total length of all lines at the end of the report.
