Requirements |
One or more selected lines.

Results |
Property |
Description |
Unique Id |
The lines unique identifier. |
Layer |
The layer the line is on. |
Total Length |
Total length of the unadjusted line. |
Misclosure Ratio |
The proportional relationship between the linear misclosure and the length of the line. |
Misclosure Bearing |
The direction of the misclosure from the end of the line to the start of the line. |
Misclosure Distance |
The linear misclosure. |
Adjusted Area |
The area enclosed by the line if the misclosure was to be adjusted using the Bowditch method. |
|
Notes |
- Generate the report to compute a misclosure on lines in the current selection. Line segments and the vertices coordinates are not adjusted in the project.
- Lines must be at least 3 segments to be included in the report.
- Chord bearing and distance will be used for circular arcs line segments. The adjusted area will include the circular arc segment area.
- The report displays in a report tab in the work area.
- Configure the distance in the Unit Options to specify if the Bowditch computations are performed using grid, ground, ellipsoid or local plane distances.
- To save the report, click the report tab to make it the active view, then click
.
- Lines with splines or transition curves will not be included in the report.
- Lines containing a 2D circular arc segment that are displayed using a 3D User Coordinate System will not be included in the report.
- Discontinuous lines will not be included in the report.
