Create a Project

Create a new project from a template.

/ New

• Select a template to create a new project.
• The selected template initially determines the configuration of the project, including:
  • Objects
  • Layers
  • Attribute Definitions
  • Import and Export options
  • Coordinate System
  • Lookup Tables
  • Text Styles
  • Blocks
  • Colour Settings
• The Available Templates list displays all system templates and the templates you have created, and stored in the template folder.
• Specify the template folder in the General Options page.
• You can also create a new project from the Start Page.
• The file is created with the same name as the template. You should save the file using a unique name.
