Total Station Setup Report

Description

Create a report on the total station setup, comparing the field measurements to the values computed from the grid coordinates.

Requirements

A total station setup.

Summary
Items Description
General Project file location, coordinate system and the date the report was generated.
Units Angular and linear units.
Setup Summary
Columns Description
Instrument Height The current instrument height set for the station setup.
Target Height The current target height set for the setups backsight (reference measurement).
Measured Direction The directions measured to the backsight.
Measured Horizontal Distance The measured slope distance reduced to horizontal.
Measured Vertical Distance The measured vertical distance.
Horizontal Difference The difference between the Measured Horizontal Distance and the ground distance computed from the grid coordinates.
Vertical Difference The difference between the Measured Vertical Distance and the difference in height computed from the grid coordinates.
Datum Difference The difference between the measured direction and the grid bearing computed from the coordinates.
Notes
  • Setups are listed in chronological order.
  • Measurement comparisons that are out of tolerance are displayed in red.
  • Tolerance is computed from the Instrument precision and the configured centring and targeting errors.
  • The curvature and refraction correction is applied to the slope distance if the correction is selected in the Measurement Processing Options.
  • Any transformations applied will be reflected in the differences.
