Description

Edit different colour banding configurations for aspect, grade and height.

Controls
Control Description
Band Select one of the 10 possible colour band configurations to view or edit.
Edit Colour Range Select the checkbox to automatically define the range of colours in the colour band.
Insert Above Click to insert a new colour band interval above the selected interval.
Insert Below Click to insert a new colour band interval below the selected interval.
Delete selected items Click to delete a selected interval from the list.
Move Up Colour Do one of the following:
  • Click to move the colour of a selected colour band interval up one place in the list.
  • Press and hold the Shift key, then click to move the colour to the top of the list.
Move Down Colour Do one of the following:
  • Click to move the colour of a selected colour band interval down one place in the list.
  • Press and hold the Shift key, then click to move the colour to the bottom of the list.
General Edit the colour band name, automatic status, as well as the minimum maximum and interval values.
Colours Select the colour for each interval of the band.
Reset Click to reset the selected colour band to the default values.
OK Accept the changes to the selected colour band.
Cancel Reject the changes to the selected colour band.
Notes
  • Different band configurations are used to display aspect, grade and height.
  • Use colour bands to colour polygons, shapes, point clouds and terrain model faces.
  • Aspect and grade colour bands are used to display terrain model faces only.
  • Select the colour band to use in the Colour Banding category in the Display Options.
  • Display terrain model faces to view colour banding on a terrain model.
  • In the Automatic box, do one of the following:
    • Select the checkbox, to automatically compute the Minimum, Interval and Maximum values based on the polygons, terrain models, point clouds and shapes in the project.
    • Clear the checkbox, to specify two of the Minimum, Maximum or Interval values. Entered values will not change when a colour band is inserted or deleted. The remaining uneditable value is computed based on the number of colour band intervals defined.
  • Adding or deleting a colour band will update the colour band ranges.
  • Colour band ranges are displayed using the current Units and Precisions
  • When colour band ranges are computed automatically, adding data to the project may update the colour band ranges.
