Select a layer to use as the basis for all new layers created.

| Control | Description |

| Template Layer | Select a layer from the list. |
| Point Clouds | Select a layer group to place all new layers created when point clouds are imported. |
- The General, Display and Attribute Definitions settings in the selected layer will be used when a new layer is created.
- If you select <None> for the Template Layer the default layer settings are used.
