Edit the standard deviation for level measurements.

- Measurements displayed in a measurements view.
- Absolute Standard Deviation or Relative Standard Deviation column displayed in the measurement grid.
The controls available are dependent on the column of the selected cells.
| Control | Description |

| Absolute Standard Deviation | Type a statistical estimate (millimetres) for the absolute error of the level measurement. In an infinite sample, 68% of observation will have an error less than or equal to this value. This value is used when the observation does not include a distance from the instrument to the observed point. |
| Relative Standard Deviation | Type a statistical estimate (millimetres) for the observation error relative to the distance between the instrument and the observed point. This value is used to compute the relative standard deviation (mm*√km) and is used when the observation includes a distance from the instrument to the observed point. |
| OK | Click OK to accept the changes. |
| Cancel | Click Cancel to discard the edits. |
- Select the Absolute Standard Deviation or Relative Standard Deviation in the measurement grid then click
- Select multiple rows from the same column to edit multiple standard deviations at once.
- Right-click the column heading in the right-hand pane and select Columns, to display the 'Absolute Standard Deviation' or 'Relative Standard Deviation' column.
- The measurement status is modified when a measurement is edited.
- Process measurements to apply the changes and update the coordinates.
