Notes |
- Geoid model files supported include AusGeoid98/09 files (*.dat, *.txt), Canadian files (*.byn), EMG96 (World) files (*.GRD), Geoid 99/03 files (*.bin), OSGM02 files (*.txt), Leica GEM files (*.GEM) and AusGeoid09/2020 (*.gsb).
- Configure the projects coordinate system to use the geoid model referenced in the data file.
- When navigating to the geoid model file in the Open window, use the file type list to show supported file types.
- When a data file that specifies a geoid model is imported, you will be prompted for the location of the geoid model if it cannot be found in the specified folder or previously used geoid model folders.
- The default geoid undulation is used when the geoid model referenced in the data file is not found and a matching geoid model is not specified in the project coordinate system.
- For best results use a NTv2 binary grid (.gsb) geoid model.
