From the Computations task, select the Create/Spline command
and the Method/Freehand command.

The End Button ends the creation of
the current spline and allows a new spline to be started. The rubber
band ceases to be attached to the last created or selected point.
The next created or selected point will begin a new spline.

The spline and associated new points are created
by pressing the accept mouse button at the desired location in the
graphic window. Alternatively, you may snap to and accept existing
points to include them in the line.
