Displays and allows you to enter or edit the parameters of a user defined projection.
New Projection and Edit Projection is accessed from the Manage Projections command.
Note: The New Projection and Edit Projection functionality is identical. The only difference being if you are editing an existing projection it will display the currently set parameters.

| Name: | Name to be given to this projection. |
| Ellipsoid: | Select an ellipsoid from the drop down list. To create a new ellipsoid, refer to Manage Ellipsoids. |
| Projection type: | Select the projection type from the drop down list. Projection types that may be selected from the drop list include: |
| Parameters: | Enter the parameters of the projection type selected. Refer to the links above for details. |
| OK: | Save any changes made to the currently set projection parameters and closes the dialog box. |
| Cancel: | Close the dialog box without saving any changes. |
