Used to modify the length of intersection lines in the graphic display of the template.
The Template Intersection Reduction Factor command is selected from the Template Editor / Display / Intersection Reduction Factor menu.
When entering instructions to intersect surfaces it is often necessary to create long probe lines to make sure that a surface intersection is achieved. In reality the intersection may occur well within the length of the probe line entered. To graphically display what is more likely to happen, the intersection reduction factor can be employed. The intersection reduction factor is a percentage between 1.0 and 100.0 which can be applied to the length of all True intersection lines in the template instructions.
The Intersection Reduction Factor command is only available if the graphic display of the template is on.
