Configure Comms

(This functionality is available with the Survey Live module)

Used to configure communications between the GNSS sensor and a RTK corrections source (i.e. reference station or network).

This page is accessed from the Configure activity via the Config button in the Survey Live main dialog.

The page is only available if Config/Sensors is set to GNSS and the system is not in demonstration mode.

Survey Live/Config/Comms page

Item	Used to
Port:	Select which port on the GNSS sensor is to be used when transferring data to or from the instrument.
Device:	Select the GNSS communications device (Radio and GSM/GPRS/UMTS are supported). If a radio device is selected, the Config/Radio page will become available.
Use Internet	Select that you will use the internet to obtain GNSS corrections. This option is only available if a GSM/GPRS/UMTS device is selected. If this option is selected, the Config/Internet page becomes available. If this option is available and not selected, the Config/Dial-up page becomes available.
Date format:	Select the data format for the RTK corrections.
RTCM version:	Select the RTCM version.
Use Network	Select whether a network is to be used to obtain the RTK corrections.
Network type	Select the type of network. This option is only available if Use Network is selected.
