Text
All settings in the Text group apply to the following long section point attributes; Offset, Elevation, Cut, Fill, Identifier, Code, Description.
Font: Set the text font of the attribute. The font is selected from a list box for LISCAD CAD. For MicroStation V7, key in a legal font number. For MicroStation V8, key in a legal alphanumeric font name. For AutoCAD key in a legal alpha numeric font name. Refer to the Font topic for further information.
Weight: Set the line weight of the point attribute text that is output to a CAD system. For LISCAD CAD, the weight entered is the thickness of the line when plotted at the scale of the plan to be created. The value entered for weight depends on the Utilities/Configure/Units linear settings. For metres enter the weight in mm, otherwise enter the weight in inches.
For MicroStation V7, select a value from 0 to 15. For MicroStation V8, select a value 0 to 31 or select ByLevel. Please refer to the MicroStation documentation.
Height: Set the height on a plan of the point attribute text that is output to a CAD system. The units will be in millimetres or inches on the plan depending on the units set in the Utilities/Configure/Units command.
Width: Set the width on the plan of the point attribute text that is output to a CAD system. The units will be in millimetres or inches on the plan depending on the units set in the Utilities/Configure/Units command.
Slant: Set the slant of the point attribute text that is output to a CAD system. The slant is in decimal degrees measured clockwise from the vertical.
Colour: List the 256 colours that are available for selection to be used for point attributes that are output to a CAD system.
Proportional: Select whether the font used is to be proportional or non proportional. The effect of a non proportional font is to evenly space the characters and numbers.
Layer: Set the CAD layer (Applies to LISCAD CAD or AutoCAD).
The layer name can be any integer number from 1 to 32000 for LISCAD CAD and up to 32 character alpha numeric name for AutoCAD.
Level: Set the CAD level (Applies to MicroStation).
The level may be any integer from 0 to 63 for V7, or up to 32 alpha numeric characters for V8.
Origin: Select the origin of the attribute. Refer to the Origin topic for further information.
Direction: Set the direction of the point attribute text that is output to a CAD system. The slant is in decimal degrees measured clockwise from the vertical.
