Transferring data from the SCR2 Card Reader

Carry out the following in the system.

  1. Ensure that you have carried out the appropriate steps in the procedure for Processing a Field Survey up to the step for initiating the transfer of the data.
  2. You should then have a dialog box on the screen prompting you to "Select the file to be downloaded"
  3. The files available in the SCR2 Card Reader are displayed in the combo box below the above message. Select the required file and press the OK button to initiate the transfer.

Transferring co-ordinate data to the SCR2 Card Reader

  1. Use the Output/Data Recorder command to put the system in a ready state to send co-ordinates to the SCR2 Card Reader. A dialog box should be displayed asking if the card reader is ready to receive data.
  2. Select the OK button in the dialog box to commence the data transfer. The file created in the SCR2 Card Reader will have the same name as the data base in from which the co-ordinates were transferred (maximum of 7 characters). If the file already exists on the card, you will be prompted as to whether it should be overwritten.
