Least Squares Adjustment Editor: Horizontal/Approximate Co-ordinates

(This functionality is available with the Adjustment module)

Computes approximate co-ordinates for the points to be adjusted in the currently open Adjustment Control File and places them in the stations window of the Least Squares Adjustment Editor.

If a point already has co-ordinates in the Stations window, then these co-ordinates are used.

If a required point already exists in the currently open data base then its data base co-ordinates will be used.

If a required point does not have available co-ordinates, the resection observations will be used to compute approximate co-ordinates.

You must have approximate co-ordinates in the stations window for all points to be adjusted prior to using the Horizontal/Adjust command.

It may not always be possible for the system to automatically compute all the required approximate co-ordinates. If this is the case, the system will advise you of the first such point, and you will need to add the required approximate co-ordinates directly in the station window of the least squares adjustment editor. After adding that point, use this command again.
