Allows the user to create new textures, edit and select existing textures.
The Select/Edit Textures dialog is available from the Set Triangle Attributes, View/Edit Triangle Attributes and View/Edit Model Attributes commands.

Item | Used to |
Texture Selector | Use the horizontal scroll bar to view all the textures in the current data set. Click on the required texture to select it for use or for editing. The selected texture will be shown enlarged in the panel below the texture selector. |
Texture Name: | Displays the name of the currently selected texture. This name may be edited and the changes saved by pressing the Save Changes button. |
Image Name: | Displays the name of the image associated with the texture. |
Ground Width: | Displays the width in ground units that the image is to represent. This ground width may be edited and the changes saved by pressing the Save Changes button. The ground width must be a positive non zero value. |
New Texture... | Opens the Open Image dialog which allows you to select an image to be used for the texture. The selected image will be displayed in the enlargement panel and the texture name will be set by default to the file name of the image minus the extension. This name can then be edited if desired. A ground width appropriate for the image should also be entered. |
Change Image... | Opens the Open Image dialog which allows you to select a new image to be associated with the currently selected texture. |
Delete Texture | Deletes the currently selected texture. |
Save Changes | Allows you to save a new texture, or any changes you have made to any of the existing texture attributes. |
OK | Accept the currently selected texture and close the dialog box. |
Close | Close the dialog box and don't change the currently selected texture. If you delete the currently selected texture the texture will be cleared when you close the Select/Edit Textures dialog. |
NOTE: If you make changes to, or delete any existing textures, any triangles or models currently using those textures will be immediately updated to reflect the changes made.
