(This functionality is available with the Input / Output module)
Imports data from Leica-SKI.
Refer also to the Import dialog box topic.
SKI data is imported in grid co-ordinates and uses the following format types.
type | |||||
31 | point id | east | north | ell.hgt | N |
32 | point id | east | north | ell.hgt | |
33 | point id | east | north | ||
34 | point id | east | north | orth.hgt | N |
35 | point id | east | north | orth.hgt |
The SKI attributes are treated as follows.
- SKI Attribute 1 is used as the feature code.
- SKI Attribute 2 is used as the point description.
- SKI attribute 3 is used as the group.
Note that if attributes 2 and 3 are not present, the description and group for the appropriate code in the code table will be used.
If Alternate Coding is not selected, then, if attribute 1 (feature code) is not present, the default feature code is used.
If Alternate Coding is selected, then, if attribute 1 (feature code) is not present, the last feature code is used.
Note that:

Leica GPS System 500, when used in real time, can produce a LISCAD field
file (*.fld) containing co-ordinates, which can then be brought into a LISCAD
project using
