Point Creation by Grade and Elevation

Availability:	Computations module.
Menu Selection:	From the Computations task, select the Create/Point command and the Grade and Elevation command.
Functionality:	Creates a new point with the currently defined point attributes at a user specified elevation along a 2 point line of specified grade. The point may be created beyond the bounds of the line. This command has two options, the fast and extended data entry methods. The extended option can be selected using the check box at the top of this dialog.
	Fast Option
Controls:	Point ID [Standard] Ref. Line [Existing] . The reference line defined must have elevations to enable a grade to be computed. Elevation [Standard] . This control MUST contain a valid elevation.
Notes:	The reference line defines the starting point, the bearing and the grade of the line along which the new point will be created. Subsequently the point will lie along this line but maybe beyond the ends of the line.
	Extended Option
	Point ID [Standard] East Co-ordinate [Standard] North Co-ordinate [Standard] Elevation [Standard] . This control MUST contain a valid elevation. Bearing [Standard] Grade [Standard] . This control MUST contain a valid grade. Elevation [Standard] . This control MUST contain a valid elevation.
Notes:	The East, North and first Elevation Controls specify a point in 3D space through which the line on which the new point will be created must pass. These controls constitute a co-ordinate group . The Bearing control specifies the bearing of the line on which the new point will be created in the horizontal plane. The Grade control specifies the grade of the line on which the new point will be created in the vertical plane.
Actions:	The Apply Button creates the point. The new point identifier may also be determined by using the Next or Last buttons. The Close Button closes the dialog.
