LISCAD DOS CAD, AutoCAD and MicroStation files can be imported into a CAD drawing.
AutoCAD and MicroStation files can be imported using a Conversion File.
To import a file.
- Select either File/Import or the Import button from the toolbar.
- In the Import File dialog box select the folder where the file
that is to be imported is.
Select either a LISCAD DOS CAD, AutoCAD or a MicroStation file to be opened from the Files of type list. - Select the file to be opened or enter the name of the file in the File name box.
- When importing an AutoCAD or MicroStation file, select from the Conversion
list a conversion file to be used when importing or select None from
the list if no conversion file is to be used.
To edit an existing conversion file or create a new one, select Configure. - Open to import the file and close the dialog box. Alternatively, select Close to shut down the dialog box without importing a file.

- AutoCAD 2000 Drawing
- AutoCAD R14/LT98/LT97 Drawings
- AutoCAD R13/LT95 Drawing
- Exchange Files
- AutoCAD 2007 DXF
- AutoCAD 2004/2005 DXF
- AutoCAD 2000 DXF
- AutoCAD R14/LT98/LT97 DXF
- AutoCAD R13/LT95 DXF
- AutoCAD R12/LT2 DXF
The following MicroStation version and files types can be imported.
- DGN Files
- MicroStation 95 (Version 7)
- MicroStation Version 8
Images in AutoCAD and MicroStation V8 are also imported into LISCAD. However you must ensure that these images have been placed in the correct directory (Defined in the AutoCAD/MicroStation V8 file) and that the image type is supported by LISCAD.
