Control	Description
Mode	Select the mode to compute the shift: Chainage and Height - Compute a distance and height difference from a point, to a location on the alignment and a long section height. Distance and Height Difference - Input the distance and height difference. Point to Point - Compute a distance and height difference between two points.
From Point	Input the point from where the distance and height difference is computed.
To Point	Input the point to where the distance and height difference is computed.
Distance	Select one of the following: Distance - Input the distance along the alignment to where a distance difference is computed. Chainage - Input a chainage to where a distance difference is computed.
Height	Input a height to where a height difference is computed.
Difference Distance	Input the distance difference.
Difference Height	Input the height difference.

Notes

Select objects in the long section view, then choose a mode to compute the distance and height difference to be applied to all selected vertical intersection and isolated points.
The long section, crest and sag points and transition points will be recomputed when the height or chainage of vertical intersection points are modified.
View the 'Vertical Geometry' row for the modified long section to ensure curves at vertical intersection points continue to fit the long section. If unintended overlaps occur, select the modified vertical intersection points and update the curve parameters in the Attributes tool window.
Objects can only be moved within the extents of the alignment.

Possible errors

Error	Description
Invalid Entry	The value entered is out of range. Check the input distance or chainage are within the extents of the alignment.
Update failed for Long Section 'Long Section 9' (id:12). The update would break the geometry.	Most likely, you are trying to move a long section or long section point beyond the extents of the alignment.
