| Description |
Import a Coordinate System in the Open Geospatial Consortium's Well Known Text (WKT) format or a Leica TRFSET(.DAT) format.
|
| Access |
Manage / Configuration / Coordinate Systems / Import
|
| Notes |
- The imported WKT file must contain a coordinate system name, projection type and parameters which define the projection and ellipsoid.
- You can edit an imported coordinate system.
- Importing a new coordinate system does not alter the coordinate system set for the project.
- An import report is displayed in the work area if a warning or error is encountered. To always display the report, see General Options.
- When importing a TRFSET.dat file, create a new coordinate system from the imported projection, ellipsoid and geoid model.
- Extract files from a TRFSET.zip prior to importing.
- Onestep and twostep transformations are not imported from TRFSET.dat files.

| Error |
Description |
| The parameter '%1' differs by '%1' (outside tolerance). |
A coordinate system, projection or ellipsoid already exists with the same name however at least one parameter varies from the existing values. |
| The file '%1' is invalid or not of a supported type. |
The file is missing required parameters. |
| Geoid file '%1' not found. |
The geoid file referenced in the imported file was not located. Navigate to the files location when the open dialog displays, prompting you for the geoid models location. |
A '%1' in an error message indicates that a value will be inserted by the application at runtime.
