Notes
  • Only alignments, long sections and lines are exported.
  • When Content is set to 'Display', the visibility of long sections in the model view (not the long section view) is considered.
  • Surface layers are named using the long section name, or the alignment name when there are 1 or less associated long sections.
  • If there are more than one long sections with the same name a suffix is added to the long section name.
  • The surface layers centreline is a combination of the long section and horizontal alignment.
  • The Use in Terrain Model and Breakline setting on the exported alignments and lines are retained in the exported file.
  • Multiple alignments can be exported at the same time. Each alignment is on a different surface layer in the Leica DBX Road Job. Exported lines are linked to all created Leica surface layers. For best results, select a single alignment and the associated lines and export the selection.
Possible errors
Error Description
The long section long section name could not be exported. The profile is discontinuous. The long section contains a gap which is not supported by the export format. You should either break the long section at the gap and create two separate long sections, or fill the gap by adding a new long section segment.
