Xchange LandXML module
|
| Options |
The following properties allow control of the export.
| General |
Description |
| Content |
If there are objects selected then only selected objects are exported.
- Displayed - If no objects are selected then only visible objects are exported.
- All - If no objects are selected then all objects are exported regardless of whether they are visible.
|
| Use Unique Id as Name |
Do one of the following:
- Select the checkbox to export the unique id as the name of a point, line or polygon.
- Clear the checkbox to export the objects name as the identifier.
Note:
- If names are not unique, a suffix (1) is added.
- If a name does not exist for the object, the unique id is used regardless of the setting.
|
| Curve Tolerance |
Type the maximum offset distance from a line to the chord between adjacent vertices in the line. Use this value to control the smoothness of splines that need to be output as straight line segments. |
| Lookup Tables |
Description |
| Layer |
Select the layer lookup table to be used during the export. |
| Attribute Definition |
Select the Attribute Definition lookup table to be used during the export. |
|
| Notes |
- You can export points, lines (straights, transition curves, circular arcs, splines), alignments, long sections and polygon objects. Attributes are exported for lines, alignments and polygons.
- Splines are exported as a sequence of connected points.
- 2D circular arcs are exported with vertices heights.
- 3D circular arcs are converted to polylines using the Curve Tolerance.
- Codes are determined from the objects layer.
- Exported names must be unique. A suffix is added to duplicate names.
- All data is exported in metres.
- A blank selection for a lookup table indicates that no lookup will be performed.
- Use the LandXML format to export to GeoMax X-PAD
- Set Content to 'All' to export long sections or set Content to 'Display' and include the long sections alignment in the selection.

| Possible errors |
| Error |
Description |
| The long section long section name could not be exported. The profile is discontinuous. |
The long section contains a gap which is not supported by the export format. You should either break the long section at the gap and create two separate long sections, or fill the gap by adding a new long section segment. |
