Options

The following properties allow control of the export.

General	Description
Content	If there are objects selected then only selected objects are exported. Displayed - If no objects are selected then only visible objects are exported. All - If no objects are selected then all objects are exported regardless of whether they are visible.
Curve Tolerance	Enter the maximum offset distance from a line to the chord between adjacent vertices in the line. Use this value to control the smoothness of circular arcs and splines that need to be output as straight line segments.
3D	Select the box to output data in three dimensions. Clear the box to output data in two dimensions. If the box is cleared: Three dimensional vertices are exported with a null height. Polylines are exported as two dimensional polylines.
Coordinate Type	Select the format of exported coordinates. Note: A geocentric coordinate system is required to export geographic coordinates.
Lookup Tables	Description
Layer	Select the Layer lookup table to be used during the export.
Attribute	Select the Attribute lookup table to be used during the export.

Notes

Points, lines, polygons, shapes and their associated attributes are exported.
Exported tables are named using the layer name.
Attribute names must be unique on each layer.
Only objects of the same type as the layers intended use will be exported with the exception of 'Generic' where all points, lines polygons and shapes on the layer are exported.
Tables are named Layer name-Object Type when the layers Intended Use is set to 'Generic'.
Clear the Allow multiple checkbox for every attribute definition to ensure only a single instance of an attribute is inserted for each object.
The attribute 'OBJECTID' is created for every point, line, polygon and shape object exported.

Possible errors

Error	Description
No Projection is available.	You have selected to export geographic coordinates and the project does not specify a geocentric coordinate system.
Unable to open, the table already exists.	The export folder you have specified has been used previously for Esri Geodatabase files. Specify an empty folder.
Attribute definition name 'Attribute name' on layer 'Layer name' is not unique.	The layer definition contains multiple attributes with the same name but different type. Attribute names must be unique for this export format.
Group attributes have not been exported.	Groups are not supported with this export format. Any attributes in groups have not been exported. You can use a query to copy the value of the group attribute into an attribute that is not part of a group.
Multiple instances of Point Point id attribute Attribute name have been found.The first attribute Attribute name has been exported.	You have added multiple instances of an attribute to an object. The first instance of the attribute has been exported.
Only object type objects on layer layer name have been exported.	The layers Intended Use is set to points, lines or polygons. Only objects of this type will be exported to avoid duplicate table names. To export all data, set the Intended Use to 'Generic'.
