Click to select all attributes in the list.
Use the Ctrl key then click rows to select multiple attributes.
Note:
- If you input a value the checkbox is selected automatically.

| Notes |
- You can create:
- Project attributes - Select Project in the Attributes tool window to display the Project pane then click

- Object attributes - Select the objects in the model view then in the Attributes tool window, click the Attributes category or an attribute group then click
- When creating attributes for objects:
- Only attribute definitions in the layer of the selected objects are available.
- Only attribute definitions with the Intended Use configured to 'Generic' or matching the selected object type are available.
- If objects of different types are selected then an attribute cannot be added.
- If objects on different layers are selected then only attribute definitions in the layer of the first object in the selection are available. If selected objects on other layers share any of the attributes being added, then these attributes will be added to these objects.
- The Auto Increment option is only available if multiple objects are selected, the attribute definition type is 'Text', and does not have a restricted list.
- If Auto Increment is selected then a number will be added or incremented on the end of the current attribute value.
- Automatic incrementing will stop if the resulting attribute value exceeds the maximum length allowed by the attribute definition.
- When attributes that are part of a group are added, the attributes group is added automatically.
- The Group column is only displayed if there are attribute groups defined in the project or selected objects layer.
- To insert attributes for an existing group, select the group heading under the Attributes category, then select the
or button.
- Select Allow multiple in the attribute definition to insert multiple attribute groups with the same name.
- When creating or editing group attributes for a selection of objects, the attribute is added or edited for all groups with the same name.

You are creating an instance of a group or an attribute when a group or attribute already exists with the same name for the specified object. Click Yes to create an additional attribute or group for the object specified in the message. Click No if you do not want duplicate groups or attributes created. Select the Apply to all checkbox to apply your Yes/No selection to all objects in the selection. |
