Import the configuration from another project or template.

Select the type of configuration to display in the list:

| OK | Click to import the selected configuration. |
| Cancel | Click to discard the changes made to the list and not import any configurations. |
Depending on the Type selected, a list of items displays.

Click to select all items in the list. Use the Ctrl key then click rows to select multiple attributes. |

- In the open dialog, navigate to the project that you want to import a configuration from then click Open.
- Ensure the project that you are importing from has been saved in the current version of the software.
- Click the column header to sort list items.
- Objects layers, line styles and point symbols used in a block definition will be automatically imported with the block definition.
- Text styles used in text rules will be automatically imported with the text rules.
- Text rules groups will be automatically imported with the text rule.
- Layer groups and attribute definitions will be automatically imported with the layer.
- A coordinate systems ellipsoid and projection will be automatically imported with a coordinate system.
- A horizontal design parameter set referenced by a horizontal design standard will be automatically imported with the design standard.
- Layers referenced by a viewport will be automatically imported with a drawing template.
- Only top level project attributes display in the list.
- Project attributes that are children of imported project attributes will be automatically imported.
