Manage the following parameter set types:
| Parameter Set Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Maximum Deflection Angle | Define the maximum deflection angle at a horizontal intersection point before a curve must be added. |
| Maximum Side Friction | Define the maximum allowable coefficient of side friction between the vehicles tyres and the road pavement at different design speeds. |
| Maximum Superelevation | Define the maximum superelevation at different design speeds. |
| Minimum Curve Length | Define the minimum curve length required at different design speeds. |
| Minimum Transition Curve Length | Define the minimum transition length at the design speed to build up the superelevation at an acceptable rate. |
| Transition Curve Requirement | Define the maximum radius of the computed circular curve where transitions must be applied. |
- Include the design parameter set in a horizontal standard, then select the standard when you compute the curves for alignment intersection points.
