Getting Help

Description

Find help on the active item or through the help window.
Controls
Control Description
F1 Key You can display context sensitive help for:
  • The active tool window or dialog - Press F1 to display help for the window that has focus.
  • A command in the ribbon - Click the model view, then hover over the command then press F1.
Help Click to display the help window, then show the Contents pane and use the Search tools to locate the topic.
Tutorial Click to display the tutorial window then select the process to learn.
Notes
  • Help and Tutorial are located in the menu bar.
  • A tool window may have focus even when it is closed. Click a control in another tool window or click the model view to change focus.
  • You may need to enable the F-Lock Key.
