Description

Define a local origin to export ground coordinates.

Controls Description
Vertex Select a vertex near the centre of the data to automatically fill the scale factor and origin.
Name Displays the name of the selected point if applicable.
Combined Scale factor Type the combined factor.
Note:
  • This value is computed automatically using the height of the selected vertex and earth radius.
Origin Easting Type the location of the easting origin where the combined scale factor is applicable.
Note:
  • This value is automatically filled when a vertex is selected.
Origin Northing Type the location of the northing origin where the combined scale factor is applicable.
Note:
  • This value is automatically filled when a vertex is selected.
Notes
  • The combined scale factor is only applied when the Apply Local Origin checkbox is selected when exporting to AutoCAD.
  • Ground coordinates are computed by applying the combined scale factor in reverse.
