Lookup Tables Description
Layer Select the Layer lookup table to be used during the export.

Notes
  • Each layer is exported as a Code to the Codelist along with its properties and attribute definitions.
  • If Target is SmartWorx the Intended Use flag for the layer determines the type of code (Point, Line or Area) created in the code list.
  • If Target is Captivate all layers are exported as Point Codes and the Intended Use configuration for the layer determines if the Linework flag is set.
  • If Target is Captivate (2.3 or later) select the Line Codes checkbox to export a line code list in addition to a point code list.
  • Only layers that have an 'Intended Use' of Generic, Lines or Polygons will have string number attribute definitions created automatically. String attributes are added to the Point code list only.
  • Codes are Truncated to 16 characters when the Target is 'Smartworx' or 'Captivate (prior v2.3)'.
  • Codes are Truncated to 48 characters when the Target is 'Captivate'.
  • Codes and attributes contained in [] in the control code definitions will be exported as free codes and attributes of the free codes.
  • Control code actions requiring parameters must have an attribute value defined in the control code definition.
  • In the field, control codes are input as free codes. Free codes should be entered immediately before the measured point that it relates to.
  • If Target is Captivate (2.3 to 7.53), you can export up to 20 attributes per code.
  • If Target is Captivate (8.0 or later), you can export up to 60 attributes per code.
