This functionality is available with the Computations Module.

Produces a report on selected points with respect to a selected alignment.

The operation is also group sensitive and block sensitive.

The Report/Point from Alignment command is selected from the Plan View Utilities task.

Item Used to
Alignment: Select the alignment which the report will refer to.
Start Chainage or Start Distance: Enter or select the alignment starting chainage or distance of the report.
The name of this field is dependent on what has been set as the Data Input By type in the Configure/Alignment dialog.
End Chainage or End Distance: Enter or select the alignment end chainage or distance of the report.
The name of this field is dependent on what has been set as the Data Input By type in the Configure/Alignment dialog.
Offset 1 and Offset 2: Enter the offset values that define a corridor within which points will be used in the report. The offsets may be left (negative) or right (positive) of the alignment.
Header: Select whether header information is to be in the report.
Header information includes the details of the current data base at the head of the report. These details may also be viewed or edited in the Utilities/Edit/Details command.
Main Points Only: Select whether duplicate points or only main points are to be included.
Include Alignment Points: Select whether key points on the alignment are to be included if they are not between the offsets.
Comma Delimited Select that the reported data be comma delimited suitable for opening in spreadsheets.
Format: Select which attributes are to be in the report and their column order.
Sort by: Select the field by which the report is to be sorted.

If a block is active, certain items in the dialog will not be applicable and therefore will not be available.

Please Note: Offsets denoted with a '*' are horizontal distances from the reported chainage to the point (secant distance). In this case a true (perpendicular) offset was not calculated. This applies to Offsets that are located at bends along an alignment.
