Change Identifiers - Warning

This warning dialog appears when a conflicting or duplicated point identifier occurs during the Change Point Identifiers process.

The original point identifier and its conflicting point identifier are shown in the warning dialog.

Please note: All conflicts and duplicates will be reported on at the end of the process.

Item Used to
Unique Point Id Database:
Skip Do not change the current point identifier.
Skip All Do not change the current point identifier or any future point identifiers that may conflict.
Stop Stop the process, all changes made to point identifiers up to this stage will still be kept.
Non Unique DB Continue with the process, but convert the job to a non unique database so that multiple points may have the same identifier.
Cancel Close the warning dialog box and do not perform the change identifiers process.
Non Unique Point Id Database:
Yes The user will still be prompted about all duplicate point identifiers.
No The user will not be prompted about any duplicate identifiers that may occur.
Stop Stop the process, all changes made to point identifiers up to this stage will still be kept.
Cancel Close the warning dialog box and do not perform the change identifiers process.
Please Note At the end of the process a report editor will appear. It will list all conflicting and duplicated point identifiers that occurred during the process. This report may be saved for future reference.
After the report window is closed a dialog will appear that gives the user the chance to continue/finalise the process or cancel the process.
