Displays and allows you to enter or edit the parameters of a user defined ellipsoid.
New Ellipsoid and Edit Ellipsoid is accessed from the Manage Ellipsoids command.
Note: The New Ellipsoid and Edit Ellipsoid functionality is identical. The only difference being if you are editing an existing ellipsoid it will display the currently set parameters, otherwise the fields will be blank.

| name: | name of the ellipsoid. |
| a and b: | Define the ellipsoid based on the a and b values. 1/f is computed based on the a and b values. |
| a and 1/f: | Define the projection based on the a and 1/f values. b is computed based on the a and 1/f values. |
| Units: | Set which units the projection parameters are to be displayed in. |
| Semi Major Axis (a): | Set the semi-major axis. |
| Semi Minor Axis (b): | Set the semi-minor axis. |
| Inverse Flattening (1/f): | Set the reciprocal of the flattening. |
| OK: | Save any changes made to the currently set projection parameters and closes the dialog box. |
| Cancel: | Close the dialog box without saving any changes. |
