Checks for and resolves any anomalies in the data base indexes.
The Maintenance/Rebuild Indexes command is selected from the Utilities task.
This command will only appear on the menu if there are no data bases currently open.

| Item | Used to |
| Look in | Select the folder in which the data base is located. |
| File name | Key in the name of the existing data base to be checked or to display a data base name selected from the list of displayed files. |
| Files of type | Only current version .SEE files can be selected for rebuilding the indexes. |
| Rebuild | Carry out the rebuild process. The Rebuild button is only active after a data base has been selected. |
| Close | Close the dialog box without rebuilding. |
