Select the Code Table that will be used as the default when a new data base is created.
The Configure/Code Table command is selected from the Utilities task.

| Code Tables: | Display the available code tables. The currently selected code table is shown highlighted. Use the mouse to change the selection. |
| OK | Save any change made in the selection of the default code table and close the dialog box. |
| Cancel | Close the dialog box leaving the default code table unchanged. |

Although the default selected will be used when a new data base is created, any of the available code tables may still be selected for use within the various commands that access a code table.
