Zooms in on the viewing area.
The Zoom In tool displayed above is used to enlarge the viewing scale of the data base by a factor of two around a selected position of interest.
To use the Zoom In tool, select the tool by clicking it with the accept mouse button. Then move the cursor into the viewing area and press the accept mouse button at the centre of the area of interest to be enlarged.
The DATA BASE will be redrawn at an enlarged scale with the selected position of interest in the centre of the viewing area. That is, you will see less of the data base but at a larger scale.
Control will stay in the Zoom In tool allowing you to progressively enlarge the viewing scale around further selected positions of interest.
Clicking the snap mouse button will exit the Zoom In tool and return operation to the previously selected command. The Zoom In tool may also be exited by selecting any other tool or command.
