(This functionality is available with the Survey Live module)
Used to enter the total station backsight details for the "Free Station" setup technique.
The Setup Target (Free Station) page is accessed from the Setup activity.

Item | Used to |
Point ID: | Select a Backsight point.
Note: You may key in or graphically select an existing point from the currently open SEE project plan window, or select from the list of points in the control file (if a control file is selected). If you key in a Point ID, the system will look first in the control file and then in the open project for the point. |
Target Ht: | Enter the target's height above the point. |
Target Button: | Show the currently selected target and select the Configure Targets page. |
Hz: | Display the current observed horizontal circle reading.
|
V: | Display the current observed vertical circle reading.
|
Slope Dist: | Display the current observed slope distance reading.
|
Remove | Remove the currently selected observation row.
|
More | Display more columns.

Note: Observations are added to the table each time the Meas button is selected. The solution is computed automatically as soon as sufficient observations are available and updated as observations are added, removed or toggled between use and non use. Clicking on observation fields in the table will toggle the appropriate fields for use or non use in the Free Station solution. Strikethrough means that the field is not being used.
