Item Used to
Description: Display or edit the description of the selected point.
The description may be up to 26 characters.
Symbol...: Display the Symbol Library dialog box. This dialog box is used to select a symbol from one of the available symbol libraries.
Colour: Display or edit the colour attribute of the point.
Units Plan: Set plan units for symbol dimensions.
The symbol dimensions will then be in millimetres (or inches) when output from the system to a CAD drawing.
Use plan units for symbols that are to be shown at a fixed size regardless of the scale to be used in the CAD drawing.
Vertical exaggeration does not affect the display of the symbol.
Ground: Set ground units for symbol dimensions.
The symbol dimensions will then be in metres (or feet) on the ground and scaled accordingly when output from the system to a CAD drawing.
Use ground units for symbols that are to be drawn to scale. An example of such a symbol could be a tree of certain diameter as shown in the dialog box.
Vertical exaggeration is applied to the display of the symbol.
Height: Display or edit the height (Y dimension) of the symbol.
Width: Display or edit the width (X dimension) of the symbol.

For example a direction of 45° will cause the symbol to be rotated anticlockwise by 45° from the direction shown in the symbol library
Custom Point: Display or edit the point as a custom point.
A custom point can have its display set in the display features dialog and attributes set when outputting CAD for both long sections and cross section sets.
Apply: Change the attributes of the selected point to reflect any changes made in this dialog box.
System: Saves the settings as the default settings for any new jobs created.
Close: Close the dialog box.

Note that if a Block is active it is necessary to select a point to initialise the dialog box. The point selected can be inside or outside the Block. The attributes can then be modified and clicking the Apply button will change the attributes of all points that satisfy the Block criteria.
