The Window/Section Manager command is used to open the section manager.
Use the Section Manager to:
- Establish relationships between alignments, designating which are to be primary alignments and which are to be secondary alignments.
- To keep track of all types of profiles in the data set.
- To maintain what profiles are displayed in which windows.
- To create horizontal long sections.
- To create points at section markers.
The Section Manager acts like an independent window. It is split vertically into two areas.
The left hand area displays in a tree structure, all of the alignments in the data base. It also displays all the profiles in the data set.
The right hand area displays in a tree structure, all currently open long section and cross section windows and their contents.
