Append or overwrite an existing long section or cross section set with another.
Append/Overwrite dialog box
| Item | Used to |
| Append: | Merge the long sections or cross section sets together. The effects of appending are as follows. |
| For long sections: | The new long section will merge together with the existing long section. Please note that any points that occur at the same along the section will appear as a vertical line between the two points. |
| For cross section sets: | The new cross section set section will merge together with the existing cross section set. Any existing cross section at the same section marker location as a new cross section will be replaced by the new cross section. |
| Overwrite: | Replace the existing long section or cross section set with the new one. |
