Create New Cross Section

(This functionality is available with the Profiles and Design module)

Creates a new two point cross section at any section marker on the alignment that does not already have a cross section at that location.

Item	Used to
Set name:	Select the cross section set name that you want to create the cross section in. The drop down list contains all the cross section sets currently open in the cross section window.
Chainage / Distance:	Select the chainage or distance that you want to create the cross section at. The drop down list will only display chainages or distances of section markers along the alignment that do not already have a cross section at the section marker in this set.
Point 1
Offset:	Enter the offset of the first point in the cross section.
Elevation:	Enter the elevation of the first point in the cross section.
Point 2
Offset:	Enter the offset of the second point in the cross section.
Elevation:	Enter the elevation of the second point in the cross section.
Apply:	Create the two point cross section at the nominated chainage. The cross section window will be updated to display the cross section created.
Close:	Close the dialog box.
