Each polygon in a data base has a hatching attribute which enables the polygon to be displayed with internal hatching. The following hatching types are available:
Line hatch: Polygon is filled with parallel lines at a chosen style, direction and spacing
Cross hatch: Similar to Line hatch but with two sets of lines at perpendicular directions
Symbol hatch: Polygon is filled with chosen symbols at user specified spacing, height, width and direction
Edge hatch: Only the edge of the polygon is hatched at a user defined direction, spacing and edge length
Solid Fill: The entire polygon is filled with a user defined colour. The colour is set by specifying a Hatching Colour
