An Offset object a special type of object pictured below. It is defined by three existing points. It consists of an offset, from a reference line between two of the points, to the third point.
In the above example, the offset is 8.000, from the reference line between points 1 and 2, to point 3.
The major use of the offset object is the automatic generation of the perpendicular offset distance from a base line to a third point.
The attributes of an offset object are set using the Attributes/Line command.
