Dimension Settings

The dimension settings govern whether lines have bearing and distance attributes, and if so, the position that they are to be displayed in relation to the line. These attributes may be set using the Attribute/Line command located in the Computations task.

Examples of the available settings are shown below:

EXAMPLE 1

• Bearing:
  • Active
  • Position Left
• Distance:
  • Active
  • Brackets
  • Position Right
  • type Along the Line

Example 1 would display as follows for a line from 1 to 2:
