Special Notes:
When File/Import XML menu is selected and an adjustment file is already open, you are given the option to append the incoming data to the existing file. If not, you can save the current data before proceeding to import the incoming data into a new adjustment file.
When data is imported from an XML file into the adjustment, data is added to the existing stations and observations in the spread sheet.
The following rules apply:
- Stations that already exist will have their co-ordinates, elevations, codes and descriptions updated if they don't exist.
- Constraints and angular measurements will always be added as new observations.
- Distances and elevations will be added to an existing observation if the observation does not contain a distance measurement.
- Height differences will be added to an existing observation if the observation does not contain a height difference measurement.
To consolidate the data as compact as possible angular observations should be imported first.
