Exclude Observation | Excludes an observation from the adjustment process. Select the entire row/s of the observation/s you wish to exclude, then either toggle the toolbar button or choose this option from the Edit Menu. This will cause the excluded row/s to be highlighted/hatched, therefore the user can easily see which measurements are to be used in the adjustment and which are to be excluded. |
|
Set Reference | Toggle whether a direction is a reference direction. A reference direction is underlined and is the start of a set of directions which were measured in relation to the reference direction.
Set Bearing | Toggle whether a direction is orientated. That is, whether it is a direction or a bearing. A bearing is shown in italic.
Retrieve Co-ordinates | Retrieve co-ordinates from the currently open database and place
them in the Least Squares Adjustment Editor. First, select the required record and then select this command. If the co-ordinates of the AT point are present in the database, they are copied to the Least Squares Adjustment Editor as fixed co-ordinates. If you inadvertently have any fixed co-ordinates against points that are to be adjusted, swipe and delete them before trying to adjust. To select a record click on the appropriate number in the left-hand column of the spreadsheet. The entire row of the record will be highlighted. |

Modify Standard Deviations | Brings up the dialog box to modify the apriori standard deviations. |
