After selecting a field file via any of the Field Transfer/Input commands or via Resolve/Edit Field File, a warning dialog box will be displayed if the file currently exists.
Similarly, selecting File/Extract in the Least Squares Adjustment editor when there is already data in the editor will also result in this warning dialog.
Select the Append button to keep the existing data intact and append new data to the end.
Alternatively, select the Overwrite button if you wish to replace the existing data with the incoming data.
Note that if appending to an existing field file, the following configuration settings must be the same as previously used in that Field file. Refer also to the Field File topic.
