Output Road Plus

(This functionality is available with the Input / Output module)

Transfers a LISCAD Alignment to the Leica Road Plus on TPS-1000 instruments.

Item Used to
Installed Device: Display the device that was selected from the list of installed devices.
Alignment
Name: Select the alignment to be output
Chainage and Distance fields Define the portion of the alignment to be output. This range also applies to the Long Section and Cross Section that are output.
Please note that the part of the alignment actually output is based on the geometric elements in the alignment. For example if a line in the alignment overlaps the range entered, that whole line will be output.
Long and Cross Sections
The combo boxes will automatically update with the long and cross sections that are referenced to the alignment chosen above.
Long Section: Select if a long section is to be output.
Cross Section: Select if a cross section is to be output.
Please note that a cross section can only be output if a long section is also being output.
Offsets
East: Key in a value to be added to the East co-ordinates of the alignment.
Use a negative value to have it subtracted.
North: Key in a value to be added to the North co-ordinates of the alignment.
Use a negative value to have it subtracted.
GSI 16 Specify that the Leica/Wild format required is the extended 16 character format.
OK Put the system in a ready state to send the data to the data recorder.
You should ensure that the data recorder has the correct communications set, is connected to the correct port, and in a ready state to receive the data.
If the Port Communications setting for the data recorder is set to FILE, pressing the OK button will first display the Save As dialog used to name the file to be created. The file name defaults to the name of the alignment in Road Plus. (Maximum of 5 characters)
Close Close the dialog box without transferring the data.

Please Note: Alignments that contain splines cannot be output to Road Plus.
